Stacy Kambouris

General Manager, QIP Consulting

Stacy has worked in the medical sector for more than 25 years, holding positions in clinical roles as a Registered Nurse, extending through to healthcare management and policy development.

Through his experience, Stacy has honed a wide range of skills in human resource management, organisational quality management frameworks and consulting in large and small health-orientated organisations.

With a strong focus of creating a culture of quality, Stacy has assisted numerous organisations with meeting specific healthcare standards and maintaining accreditation through regular auditing and comprehensive quality improvement activities.

As a long-standing assessor and surveyor for a broad range of frameworks – including the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards; the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Standards for general practices; and various community, human and disability services standards – Stacy has gained in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of the application of standards and quality frameworks in healthcare settings.

This experience has fostered Stacy’s understanding of how to apply multiple standards in various environments to improve patient safety and quality of care. His ability to engage at all levels of the organisation and communicate practical implementation of standards through his own first-hand experience, has enabled Stacy to provide valuable guidance to a multitude of healthcare services.
